Supreme Court Revokes 28 Parliamentary Candidate Registrations for Failing to Vote

On February 7, the Supreme Court's Election Division published an order removing 27 candidates from 14 political parties from the party-list parliamentary candidate roster due to their failure to vote. The list includes candidates from various parties such as Setthakit Party, Thai Sang Chart Party, and others. The candidates were disqualified for not participating in previous elections, which is a requirement for maintaining electoral eligibility. The names span multiple political parties including Thai Move Forward Party, Thai Ready Party, and Palang Pracharath Party. On February 7, an additional candidate from the Thai Social Democratic Party was also removed, bringing the total number of disqualified candidates to 28. This decision significantly impacts the party-list candidate lineup across multiple political parties.
