An 18-year-old female student fell from a seven-story building at a prominent school in Nakhon Si Thammarat and died from her injuries at the hospital. Police from Muang District Station were notified on July 28 at 6:00 PM about the fall inside a school building in Muang District, Nakhon Si Thammarat. Officers and rescue personnel arrived to find the student, identified as Ms. A (pseudonym), age 18, lying in a pool of blood in front of the school building with severe injuries. First aid was provided before she was rushed by ambulance to Maharaj Nakhon Si Thammarat Hospital. Investigators examining the seven-story building found signs of disturbance including a chair, sandals, and the victim's wallet left behind. Governor Somchai Leelahannoi and the student's father, who had been participating in a merit-making ceremony at the provincial grounds, came to the scene. The investigation revealed that Ms. A had previously been a student there but withdrew due to health issues and depression. Before the incident, she had attended the merit-making ceremony with her parents, and her mother took her out to broaden her horizons. She asked her mother to buy snacks before disappearing and entering the school building, then going up to the seventh floor. The student died at 8:45 PM.
