Cindy Sirinyaa Unfazed by Lukkade's Remarks: 'Everyone Has Their Own Strengths,' Won't Get Involved in Lukkade-Tae Drama

Cindy Sirinyaa dismissed speculation about Lukkade's livestream comments, saying she focuses on her mentoring role at The Face Thailand Season 7 rather than getting caught up in drama between other cast members.

4d ago Khaosod

When asked about Lukkade's livestream comments that included veiled references to her, Cindy laughed it off, saying she hadn't even heard about it yet. She explained that it's natural for people to explore different experiences, comparing it to tasting different flavors—some prefer spicy, others prefer sweet. Cindy emphasized she doesn't see it as a competition to become an icon in place of Lukkade, noting that each mentor brings their own strengths and approaches. She stressed she came to do her job excellently and won't get involved in any drama between Lukkade and Tae Kantana, as they're not her concern. Regarding her decision to join The Face Thailand Season 7 as a full mentor, Cindy explained the timing worked perfectly and her daughter is a big fan of the show. When asked about the teaser featuring grapes and shoes that sparked speculation it was Lukkade, Cindy dismissed the speculation as people using too much imagination, clarifying it was just food styling on the table with no hidden meanings.

Aries (Aries) Today you should view pending work matters as a challenge to your abilities, which you can complete through patience. Neighbors will demonstrate their skills or help lighten your workload. You may gain benefits from beliefs or unseen things, including lucky charms from people you respect.

Taurus (Taurus) Today, if you are determined in your studies or business ventures, you will find work or happiness in studying in distant places. You may face initial complications, but your own wisdom will resolve them. Avoid conflicts with relatives in your area. Do not place too much confidence in gambling or taking excessive risks.

Gemini (Gemini) Today you and your relatives are fortunate. Requests for help from anyone will succeed with good results. Your financial situation will improve and become more prosperous. However, it is better to become wealthy quietly. Any money you lend will return doubled. Those with large, spacious homes should be cautious of thieves or unwanted intruders secretly taking shelter.

Cancer (Cancer) Today your travel will be inconvenient, often encountering traffic or obstacles. Regardless of circumstances, you should help yourself first before asking others for assistance, as what you say is often unheard or ignored. Your relatives and entourage tend to behave like bullies, oppressing others.

Leo (Leo) Today you should avoid activities with new foreign or out-of-province friends. Some of them may possess knowledge of mysterious arts or occult beliefs. It is best to listen without participating in any strange rituals. If you don't have a partner yet, you may develop affection for someone close to you, which can lead to a good relationship.

Virgo (Virgo) Today you will gain benefits from superiors at work or through blood relations. You will make sacrifices for those you respect who are in difficulty. This is a period when relatives visit and bring you considerable benefits, often significant ones. Avoid entering caves, wells, tunnels, or forests and cemeteries.

Do not joke about romantic matters, especially with people you don't take seriously. Your spouse or partner will find it easier to listen to and accept your opinions than usual.

Scorpio (Scorpio) Today you lack support from superiors, and you may lose important opportunities. Influential people may envy you unexpectedly. If you gain something, it is better to appear sad, as if you are not particularly happy. Lending cash to friends may cause you to lose them immediately, so give without expecting repayment.

Sagittarius (Sagittarius) Today you will be in contact with the opposite sex frequently, though you remain uncertain if they are your true partner. Relatives will visit with gifts and souvenirs. Meanwhile, antiques or religious statues in your home may be damaged or lost. Your children and grandchildren will receive good education. Travel to desolate areas may be dangerous.

Capricorn (Capricorn) Today travel of any kind is inconvenient as you will encounter only complications. You should relocate your savings or deposits to diversify risk. Valuable possessions or antiques should be stored securely.

FDA Warns Against Using Gold Leaf or Gold Powder in Food, Says It Has No Nutritional Value and Risks Heavy Metal Contamination

The FDA warns against using gold leaf or gold powder in food, citing no nutritional value and potential heavy metal contamination risks that could accumulate and harm health over time.

4d ago Khaosod

The FDA has advised against using gold leaf or gold powder in food products, warning that it provides no nutritional benefit and may pose risks from heavy metal contamination that could impact health if accumulated over time. On May 27, 2026, Supattra Bunserm, Secretary of the Food and Drug Commission, revealed that gold leaf and gold powder have been found decorating or added to food products such as bakery items and confectioneries to enhance luxury appeal and increase product value. The FDA is concerned about using food decorative substances for aesthetics alone, and business operators should prioritize consumer safety. For packaged processed foods requiring FDA pre-approval before sale, the FDA has explicitly banned the use of gold leaf or gold powder as a food ingredient. For foods prepared and sold directly to consumers, although they are exempt from requiring FDA approval, the agency does not recommend using gold leaf or gold powder for decoration, as they provide no nutritional value and may pose safety risks if the gold is non-standard. If accumulated over extended periods, such exposure could harm health. Therefore, consumers should avoid consuming gold leaf from unknown or uncertain sources. Anyone discovering food products suspected of being substandard or unsafe can report them to the FDA hotline 1556, Line @FDAThai, email 1556@fda.moph.go.th, or provincial health offices throughout the country.

Vee Violet Sends Encouragement to Goy and Natti Amid Allegations of Backstabbing from Mystery Woman, Reveals She's a Friend from School

Actors Kao Jiraiyu and Vee Violet reunite for their first film together in eight years, "Term 4," while sending support to friends Goy and Natti facing online harassment from someone claiming to be their university classmate.

4d ago Khaosod

When actors Kao Jiraiyu and Vee Violet attended the premiere of the film 'Term 4' at Paragon Cineplex Level 5 in Siam Paragon, the pair gave interviews to the media about reuniting on screen after 8 years. This marks their first film together in the Term 4 series at the White Bridge location. During the interview, they also addressed their friends Goy Arutsophon and Natti Nantanat, who were recently targeted by a woman claiming to be from their graduating class (Journalism, Chulalongkorn University, Class of 48) who posted repeatedly on social media accusing them of backstabbing.

Vee explained: "During the White Bridge period in Term 4, we ended things sweetly, though I'm not entirely sure of the details, but we had to watch it since there were definitely ghosts involved."

Kao added: "It might be a certain kind of sweetness, right? Our last time playing together was probably in the Club Friday short series."

When asked if this was their first film together, Kao confirmed: "Yes, this is our first film together."

Regarding whether Kao decided to accept the role after learning Vee was involved, he explained: "When they contacted me, I didn't know initially. They said they contacted Vee, but I thought she might be too busy since I remember she had a lot of work at that time, especially during January when we were filming."

Vee interjected: "I was in a voice recovery period then, so there were many things going on."

Kao continued: "We thought she might not accept, so I accepted my role first without knowing who my co-star would be since we have different managers and didn't communicate. But when it turned out to be her, I was happy. It made things easier. It felt like we already knew each other and understood how the other person works. Even though we weren't dating when we filmed together, it felt like she was someone I'd already worked with well. I felt good about it, and when we got together to film, it didn't seem worrisome at all."

When asked if they worried about laughing at each other due to the long time apart, Vee said: "Looking at each other does make it a bit hard. Like if she turns and makes a serious face at me, I'm supposed to be acting."

Kao admitted: "Sometimes in our personal moments we joke around while acting, so we were worried we might laugh when it got serious in the series. But when we got to the film, it was okay."

Asked whether they drew from their real-life personalities for their characters, Kao said: "I think there's some of it, unconsciously."

Vee clarified: "But character-wise, I don't feel like that's the case because of the script and other factors. We're not really playing ourselves. We look like ourselves but we're not. But if you ask, there's definitely some chemistry there. We drew from real life, from the love we have."

When asked about future collaborations, Vee said: "Not yet, but they could contact us."

Kao joked: "We could separate for a bit. But please contact me during this period. My dog has been eating well lately, so I'd like to keep feeding him well consistently."

Regarding Vee's voice health, she reported: "It's been improving gradually."

Asked about precautions, Vee explained: "I'm being careful because I don't feel like rushing. This year I'm taking it slowly but gradually accepting work."

On her work limit, she said: "I'm starting to accept some projects but not too many. Maybe 10 jobs a month would require a break. I might gradually increase the pace."

She continued: "I try to space out each job a bit so my voice always has time to rest. I'm carefully considering each offer."

Kao noted: "But this period has been quite busy. The Friendsfly group we're part of is also doing a stage play."

Vee confirmed: "Yes, Goy, Natti, and Dream are doing a stage play."

Excitement in Uthai Thani as Villagers Discover Chuchok Statue During Temple Ceremony, Believe It Brings Good Fortune

Villagers in Uthai Thani uncovered a 25-centimeter Chuchok statue during a temple ceremony on May 27, believing the discovery is auspicious and will bring lottery luck to their community.

4d ago Khaosod

Villagers in Ban Hat Song Kaeo, Thakham Subdistrict, Tron District, Uthai Thani Province, gathered on May 27 to conduct a ceremonial offering to Pho Khampong shrine, a sacred site revered by two communities that serves as a spiritual center. Locals believe the shrine watches over Pad Marsh and a large reservoir crucial for agriculture, and that Pho Khampong protects villagers from danger while promoting agricultural prosperity and business success.

During the ceremony, villagers prepared traditional offerings including boiled pork head, boiled eggs, nine types of fruit, Thai desserts, betel nuts, cigarettes, and alcohol. As the ritual procession circled the shrine, one participant spotted an object protruding from the ground near the temple entrance. Upon investigation, they uncovered a 25-centimeter Chuchok statue, seemingly buried for a long time due to accumulated soil.

Villagers believe discovering the Chuchok statue is auspicious, as Chuchok is traditionally considered a "great grantor" believed to fulfill wishes. The community performed incense divination and obtained the lucky numbers 690, which they plan to use for lottery tickets in the upcoming draw. Villagers have vowed that if they win the grand prize, they will commission new clothes for the Chuchok statue and construct a proper shrine in gratitude.

Thai Sepaktakraw Chief Threatens International Court Action if Federation Bans Thailand from Asian Games

Thailand's sepaktakraw chief threatened international court action if the federation bans the team from the Asian Games, following the national team's refusal to continue playing in last weekend's world cup final against Malaysia over dispu

4d ago Khaosod

Thana Chaipraseuth, president of the Thai Sepaktakraw Association, stated he may file a complaint with the international court if the federation imposes a ban on Thailand's participation in the Asian Games in Japan. The controversy erupted during the ISTAF Sepaktakraw World Cup 2026 final in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia last weekend, when the Thai national team refused to continue playing in the championship match against Malaysia due to dissatisfaction with Singapore-based referee Muhammad Radi's decisions. This incident could result in Thailand being banned from international competitions, including the upcoming Asian Games in Japan.

Following a Thai Olympic Committee meeting on May 27, 2026, Thana Chaipraseuth clarified that Thailand did not walk out of the venue. He emphasized that the team forfeited the championship to Malaysia but remained present at the medal ceremony, and the federation had been notified of this decision. He argued that if referees were deliberately favoring Malaysia, Thailand should accept the loss, but stated firmly that if the federation takes punitive action, Thailand would be forced to pursue the matter at the international court.

Regarding speculation that this dispute might be personally motivated by rival Bunyachai Lorpipat, a previous candidate for the association presidency, Thana said he preferred not to point fingers and asked the public to examine the facts and conduct of all parties involved.

Thana announced that the association will formally submit clarifications to the federation on various disputed points, and will request an explanation as to why referee Radi was assigned to oversee two matches in this tournament when other qualified referees were available.

Khon Kaen Man Protests Checkpoint: Why No Ticket for No License, But Arrest Record Sent to Court? Police Captain Explains It's the Law

A Khon Kaen police checkpoint stopped a woman with multiple violations including an expired license and revoked plate, then issued only a warning after finding she was a first-time offender; the commander clarified that driving without a li

4d ago Khaosod

At 12:30 p.m. on May 27, 2025, social media pages across Khon Kaen province shared a video clip from a checkpoint at Ban Fang Police Station, Ban Fang District, Khon Kaen Province. A Facebook user posted a complaint saying the incident happened to someone close to them, questioning the police's enforcement approach. The post stated: "The driver had no license but showed a national ID. Police couldn't issue a ticket, but went ahead and filed an arrest report for court instead—even though the person could have been identified to receive a ticket. The police claimed they need immediate cash payment to issue a ticket and can't let you pay at home later."

When contacted, Pol. Maj. Korrapob Netsudsong, the Ban Fang Police Station commander, explained that officers initially stopped a vehicle driven by a young woman and discovered multiple document and vehicle registration violations: the car was not registered, it used an old license plate that had been revoked by the Transport Office due to unpaid taxes for over three years, and the driver could not produce a valid license.

According to law, when a driver lacks a license, they must be referred to provincial court—fines cannot be issued at the police station level. This applies nationwide throughout Thailand. However, after further investigation, police found the driver had already filed for new vehicle registration and was waiting for the new license plate from the Transport Office. Considering she was a young first-time offender with no criminal history in the system, officers exercised discretion and issued only a warning, advising her to complete the registration process and always carry her license while driving.

The commander emphasized there was no arrest or ticket issued—only a check and warning with guidance to comply with the law. He added that regarding the social media post from a local page operator: the person posting was connected to the driver and unhappy about the vehicle stop. Police confirmed the traffic stop followed standard procedures when document and vehicle violations were discovered, with no intention to discriminate or single anyone out.

Police also reminded the public to ensure their vehicle registration, license plate, and driver's license are all valid and current before operating a vehicle, as using an improperly registered vehicle or revoked license plates constitutes a legal offense.

Lao official apologises for remarks targeting Thai cave rescuers

A Laotian deputy village chief apologized for social media comments criticizing Thai volunteers helping rescue seven villagers trapped in a flooded cave in Xaysomboun province, after facing backlash from users in both countries.

4d ago Khaosod

VIENTIANE, Laos — A deputy village chief in Laos has issued a public apology after his social media comments disparaging Thai volunteers helping rescue seven villagers trapped in a flooded cave drew fierce backlash from users in both countries.

Somchay Vilayvong, a deputy village chief in Xaysomboun province, came under fire after posting a comment that many interpreted as demeaning toward the Thai rescue team, suggesting the volunteers had shown up uninvited in search of recognition.

The comment spread rapidly online, drawing criticism from both Lao and Thai social media users.

On 26 May 2026, Somchay posted a video apology on his personal Facebook account. He said his remarks stemmed from a lack of understanding and expressed sincere support for all agencies involved in the rescue effort, adding that he would avoid making similar comments in the future.

The incident unfolded against the backdrop of an ongoing rescue operation in Long Chaeng district, where seven villagers have been trapped underground since 20 May after heavy rain flooded the entrance to a cave. The operation gained wider attention on 22 May when a local influencer shared footage of the rescue after receiving it via Facebook Messenger.

Thai volunteers joined the effort following a call for assistance from a Lao volunteer association, whose request was reposted by a Thai Facebook page — the same post under which Somchay's controversial comment appeared.
