Actor Rocky Faces Defamation Lawsuit Alongside Mother

Thai actor and DJ Rocky Surbudin has spoken out after being named as the primary defendant in a defamation case, with his mother "Khun Mae Jip" listed as the second defendant. Rocky expressed bewilderment at the lawsuit, noting that his family had only publicly addressed the underlying dispute once before and believed the matter was settled. He appeared at the Nakaratcha Award ceremony alongside his mother and younger sister Dink Kamalchonok, where he admitted feeling confused upon first seeing the court documents. Rocky stated he only recently received the summons and has been too busy with work to review the case details. He acknowledged that the allegations relate to defamation but said he has not yet read the full complaint to understand the specific claims against him and his mother. Rocky expressed frustration, saying his family has deliberately avoided discussing third parties and tried to keep the matter private as a family issue. Regarding his father Surachai, Rocky said he has not been in contact with him since the original dispute and has cut off communication completely. When asked if his father was aware of or agreed with the family's position, Rocky said he could not speculate. Rocky's mother also expressed confusion, saying that from her perspective the matter was closed after she made her initial public statement, but appears bewildered that it has continued.
