Actress Nam Pun Reveals Why She Made Advance Will
Actress Nam Pun revealed she created an advance will to protect her children's future, appearing on a talk show to discuss family planning and her approach to parenting her two young kids.
Strong-willed mother Nam Pun Kulnath recently revealed the careful family planning behind her decision to create an advance will, worried about her children's future should anything happen to her. She brought along her 9-year-old daughter Taria and 2-year-10-month-old son Jacob while addressing a household dispute with her foreign husband over a non-stick pan that lasted for years, ultimately agreeing to compromise for her children's health. She appeared on the talk show Kui Saep Show on Channel One 31, hosted by Thannya Thanya Res and Peggy Srithannya.
When asked if she's close with Thannya and reaches out when issues arise, Nam Pun explained: "Nothing really. I just ask her briefly, 'What plans do you have?' (laughs) When I notice unusual silence, we chat about it in our group. We have our own group where we support each other. When news gets quiet, I directly ask what's going on. If I have any issues, I'll call and we talk about everything."
Regarding the group's name, Nam Pun revealed it's called "Kulnoi," which Thannya came up with. She explained how Thannya earned the nickname through various "noi" (small) stories, such as when Taria was exclusively breastfed for 8 hours straight, even sucking until the nipple became sore. Nam Pun shared that Taria breastfed until age 2 and continued sucking the empty breast until age 4, noting it's a comfort mechanism for children.
Taria, now 9 years old in Grade 4, participates in swimming, ballet, and piano lessons. When asked what she enjoys most, Taria hesitantly said "nothing," though Nam Pun revealed the girl loves dancing. Her father preferred to keep her in ballet rather than pursuing K-pop early, believing ballet would be more suitable. Nam Pun mentioned that swimming training is demanding, with sessions lasting 2 hours daily. When asked if she's cried from exhaustion or wanting to quit, Taria admitted she once cried after not winning a medal. Regarding compliments about her appearance, Taria politely thanked people but was reluctant to answer. Nam Pun joked that as Taria grew older, she's become less responsive, comparing it to talking to a car's steering wheel, though Taria can hear but chooses not to answer.
