On September 13 at Lumpini Police Station, actress Khwan Usamanee reported being suddenly approached by an unknown man while jogging at around 9 a.m. The man rushed toward her, pointed at her face, and repeatedly shouted "In 3 months, you will have to change what you say," repeating the threat about 6-7 times. He then mentioned the name of a former deputy prime minister or former minister, telling her to call him and daring her to file a complaint before fleeing when bystanders grew suspicious.
Khwan said she initially did not understand what the man wanted, as he tried to pose as a fan club member. The incident left her extremely frightened, and she suspects it was not a random encounter because the man was able to follow her to her location and his mention of high-ranking former politicians suggests premeditation. She believes there may be multiple people involved and that only two officers pursued him without catching him.
"I believe this incident is linked to my decision to reveal information and images related to the watermelon case," Khwan stated. Despite her fear, she said she will not stop speaking out on what she believes is right and wants society to know the truth. She called on the public to help monitor the facts and look out for each other's safety.
