AIS Partners With Buriram United to Transform Thai Football

Advanced Info Service (AIS), Thailand's leading telecommunications and intelligent network provider, has announced a formal strategic partnership with Buriram United, the country's top-ranked football club. The alliance represents a merger of Thailand's leaders in smart networks and telecommunications with Thai football's leading force, integrating both organizations' capabilities to create a new dimension in Thai sports and football.

This collaboration builds on AIS's role in partnering with the Football Association of Thailand under Royal Patronage to broadcast all national-level Thai football competitions for the first time, covering Thai League 1, 2, and 3, the Thai Cup, FA Cup, Revo Cup, U-21 Youth League, and Women's League. The partnership with Buriram United transcends conventional club sponsorship, instead blending the vision and resources of both organizations to elevate fan and customer experience through exclusive benefits, premium content, and activities aligned with the digital lifestyle of AIS customers and Buriram United supporters. The collaboration will also drive sustainability initiatives across environmental protection, youth development, community, and social growth.

Sarish Rattanawadee, head of corporate integration at AIS, stated: "This partnership is not merely sports sponsorship in a traditional sense, but a strategic alliance between two leading national organizations with strength in both digital lifestyle and Thai football. We are committed to combining our technology, network, and innovation capabilities with the power of the sports industry to deliver superior experiences to AIS customers and Buriram United fans through exclusive benefits, premium content, and distinctive special activities. We believe this partnership will be another significant milestone in creating new value for football fans and driving Thai football's strong and sustainable long-term growth."

Chananpon Chidchob, deputy managing director and head of football operations at Buriram United, said: "Buriram United is delighted to officially welcome AIS into the Lightning Castle family. This partnership is a significant strategic collaboration born from aligned visions to elevate Thai football. The club is ready to combine its capabilities and strengths with AIS to create special activities and deliver exclusive premium experiences and benefits to both Buriram United fans and AIS customers throughout the upcoming 2026/27 season, while jointly advancing and developing Thai football sustainably."

This strategic partnership reaffirms both organizations' shared commitment to leverage their expertise, robust infrastructure, and technological innovation to advance Thai football to the next level. Thai football fans and customers of both organizations can expect exclusive special activities and campaigns emerging from this partnership in the coming weeks.
