The 42-year-old legendary fighter Samaae from Buriram faced off against 22-year-old Thai-Malaysian striker Aliff S. Dechaphand in the main event of The Inner Circle at Lumpinee Boxing Stadium (Rama Intra) on July 24. The winner would advance to challenge Prajanchai PK Saenchai for the sole undisputed world championship.
The two fighters traded blows intensely from the opening round. Samaae used his experience to control the pace, while Aliff countered with sharp movements and high kicks to the neck. Despite the pressure, Samaae remained composed. In the fifth round, Aliff accelerated his attack and landed a powerful right hand, counting Samaae down before finishing the fight with a knockout victory.
