Amazing Aquatic Thailand Exhibition Opens Today

Future Park and Spell shopping mall invites visitors to experience Thailand's underwater realm at the 36th National Fisheries Day celebration under the theme 'Amazing Aquatic Thailand: Wonders of Thai Waterways.' The country's largest aquatic animal exhibition and fisheries showcase runs from July 3-12 on the ground floor, offering 7,000 square meters of space featuring exhibitions, technology, creative activities, and comprehensive fishing education for all ages.

This year's event received royal patronage when Princess Chulabhorn Walailak presided over the opening ceremony on July 3, presenting awards to competition winners and participating in various activities including an online fish-release ceremony and exhibition viewing.

The 'Amazing Aquatic Thailand' concept showcases the diversity and richness of Thai aquatic resources while promoting conservation and sustainable resource use through modern displays combining technology, lighting, colors, sound, and creative activities. A key highlight is the national beautiful fish competition featuring over 8 species and 81 varieties, including Siamese fighting fish, paradise fish, goldfish, and Asia's first-ever Balloon Molly competition, elevating Thailand's ornamental fish industry to international standards.

The exhibition includes underwater ecosystem displays simulating both freshwater and saltwater environments, telling stories of Thai aquatic life and conservation. Visitor favorites include 'Titan,' a giant crocodile, with daily bare-handed crocodile catching shows and mesmerizing mermaid performances at 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. New interactive features include digital adventure games, competitive fish soccer, and an AR Scan Rally collecting virtual aquatic creatures for special prizes, ensuring entertainment for all ages.
