The 29-year-old defeated Thailand's Vithoon Kulamutti ("Viu"), world number 2, in the final after a grueling three-game battle, successfully avenging his loss in last year's final. Following the match, Antonsen posted on social media stating: "Thailand Open 2026 champion—this is one of the greatest victories of my career. Playing in the final against Viu and surrounded by the loudest Thai crowd cheering, I'm incredibly proud."
