Buriram United continued to demonstrate their high standard of play in Thailand's domestic competition, overwhelming Ayutthaya United in their FA Cup semifinal match. In the Chang FA Cup 2025-26 semifinal at PAT Stadium, defending champions Buriram United faced Ayutthaya United in a match where the former champions were clearly dominant. Emmanuel Togo opened the scoring for Buriram in the 17th minute with a 1-0 lead, followed by Sandy Walsh's goal in the 41st minute, extending the Lightning Castle's advantage to 2-0.
In the second half, Kingsley Schindler scored in the 63rd minute to make it 3-0, and Supachai Jaidej added another goal in the 72nd minute to extend Buriram's lead to 4-0. Robert Sulek sealed the victory with a 5-0 final score.
In the other semifinal at Nonthaburi's central sports stadium, PT Prachuap FC faced Lamphun Warriors in a tightly contested match. A single goal from Bernardo Vilar proved decisive, giving Prachuap a 1-0 victory and earning them a spot in the championship final against Buriram on May 31 at Thammasat University's Rangsit Stadium.
