Venerable Napan, assistant abbot of Sarasinee Rajavoramahavihara Temple and a well-known advocate for human rights and peaceful conduct, posted about being denied accommodation at a B2 Hotels property in Chiang Mai. In response, B2 Hotels released a statement on Facebook apologizing sincerely and clarifying that the company operates under no policy to reject guests based on race, nationality, religion, or belief. The chain emphasized that all customers receive equal care and service founded on respect and equality. The hotel acknowledged that the staff member's conduct and communication did not meet B2 Hotels' service standards and apologized to the monk and all affected parties. B2 Hotels noted it has operated for over 20 years, maintaining a commitment to equal treatment regardless of background or faith. The company, rooted in a Sikh family, said it has always valued respect for diversity and coexistence. The hotel pledged to investigate the incident, retrain staff on proper service protocols, and prevent similar occurrences. B2 Hotels reiterated its welcome to all guests regardless of origin, religion, or belief, and apologized again while thanking the public for feedback to improve its services.
