David Beckham, the legendary English midfielder, posted a message congratulating the Three Lions on successfully advancing to the quarterfinals of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. England, playing with 10 men, narrowly defeated co-host Mexico 3-2 and secured passage to the quarterfinals, where they will face Norway next.

Following the match, Beckham shared an Instagram story with praise for the younger generation of English players, stating: "This is the kind of performance that truly deserves applause. There's no other way to win a game like this except by playing exactly like this. Absolutely brilliant."

The 51-year-old former player also briefly commended the team's coach Thomas Tuchel, saying: "The coach did an amazing job."

England has advanced to the quarterfinals and will take on Norway on July 12 at 4:00 AM.
