For those who have died, the establishment has allocated 10,000 baht each for funeral and initial relief assistance, with funds currently available for 30 deceased victims. These funds can be collected at Phaholyothin Police Station. The attorney stated that this money represents the restaurant's reserves, decided jointly by approximately 4-5 family members and associates of the owner, despite concerns about potential criminal charges. All agreed to prioritize victim compensation based on the restaurant's financial capacity, with details regarding injured victims still under discussion but a commitment to compensation confirmed.

The restaurant owner remains hospitalized in the ICU in critical condition, with doctors assessing the prognosis at 50-50. He remains unconscious and unable to provide a statement to investigators. However, the possibility of future testimony has not been ruled out if his condition improves. Details regarding business partners have not yet been fully investigated. The attorney confirmed the venue is registered as a restaurant licensed to hold live music events, though specific operating hours and conditions remain unclear pending document review. The restaurant representatives also intend to meet with families of all victims following the police station procedures.

On July 14, 2569, Police Colonel Piraphol Sailarut, commander of the Chanthaburi Provincial Police, led officers in arresting Donuphol (alias Diao), 29, at his residence in Bang Kaja Subdistrict, Muang District, Chanthaburi Province. The suspect was wanted for illegally selling drugs to local teenagers with no fear of the law.

Investigations revealed the suspect was a repeat offender with a sizeable drug network who conducted transactions through mobile applications with numerous customers. What stood out in this search was the suspect's ingenious method of concealing drugs using a large display cabinet fitted with a special lock system that requires a keycard to slide open the front panel and reveal the hidden storage compartment behind it. The suspect claimed he had ordered the cabinet online to evade police detection.

The search uncovered crystal methamphetamine weighing 6,002.4 grams (over 6 kilograms), digital scales, and mobile phones used for drug transactions. Authorities also seized other assets including 62,000 baht in cash, a gold necklace weighing 56.3 grams, several amulets in gold settings, and a Mazda 2 vehicle, totaling approximately 1,112,000 baht in confiscated property.

The suspect faces charges of selling Category 1 dangerous drugs (methamphetamine) for commercial trafficking purposes and distributing drugs to the public. He is being held pending further investigation by Muang Chanthaburi Police Station.

General Deecha Hemkrasri, ACC vice president, ASEAN Cycling Federation president, and Thai Cycling Association chairman, revealed that Malaysia will host the 2026 BMX Racing Asian Championships and the Malaysian BMX International Race at the BMX Racing track in Nilai City from August 6–9, 2026. The ACC Management Committee's second meeting of 2026 will be held on August 6 at the Renaissance Hotel in Kuala Lumpur.

On July 14, 2025 at Government House, Deputy Government Spokesman Lalida Perithvivattana announced cabinet resolutions to appoint high-level administrators. The event is open to anyone looking to take a break from technology through a digital detox, spend time with themselves, or simply sit in silence alongside others.

Participants are encouraged to arrive 15–30 minutes early to choose a suitable place to sit. At 17:00, a 30-minute countdown will begin, during which attendees may sit quietly at their own pace, lie down, daydream or meditate, provided they do not disturb other park visitors. Participants are free to leave any time. The organisers said the event is not a challenge or competition, but an opportunity for everyone to spend time in whichever way they feel most comfortable.

After the 30 minutes are up, participants can either head home or join small discussion groups to share their experiences with others. The organisers suggest forming groups of three to five people to discuss topics such as why they chose to attend and what they experienced while sitting quietly.

Organisers also introduced a new "Sit Squad" initiative, encouraging those interested to form sub-groups of five to 10 participants and organise similar activities independently at different dates, times and locations, rather than waiting for another large-scale event. Those interested can register as members or volunteer as group coordinators through a Google Sheet provided by the organisers.

Participants are advised to bring their own mats, camping chairs, umbrellas and drinks while complying with park regulations, including bans on smoking, alcohol and littering, and respecting other park users. Organisers also recommend preparing for hot weather, rain, large crowds and possible travel delays. Everyone is encouraged to look after their own safety—especially after dark—by remaining in well-lit areas where other people are present.

Following feedback from the previous event, organisers have asked both attendees and members of the media to respect individual privacy when taking photographs or filming.

They recommend that anyone taking photographs avoid capturing identifiable images of others without their consent unless permission has been granted beforehand. Those who do not wish to be photographed are encouraged to wear a red ribbon on their arm, as shown on the event poster, to indicate that they do not consent to being photographed. They may also use a crossed-arms gesture to communicate their wishes directly to photographers. Should any unauthorised images still be published, the organisers said they would later discuss possible courses of action with the participants.

Additionally, the organisers said anyone interested in hosting a "sitting still" event at another location or time is welcome to do so without seeking permission.
