Thai-American artist Billkin recently won the 2026 WIEA Impactful International Artist award and is currently working on a new album while planning international tours across Singapore, South Korea, and Hong Kong.
Billkin Putipong has just wrapped up his Billkin Feelquency Tour in Macau and traveled to receive the award for "2026 WIEA Impactful International Artist" at the Weibo International Entertainment Awards 2026. The artist recently appeared as a presenter at the Palace World event at CentralWorld shopping mall.
Billkin expressed his satisfaction with the recent Macau concert, which received an enthusiastic response from fans. He revealed that he's currently working on a new album and is open to taking on performance opportunities if the timing and circumstances align.
When asked about the number of endorsement deals this year, Billkin explained: "I don't really keep count. Whenever offers come in, I want to do them, but it depends on the opportunity. Offers keep coming, but I only accept those that align with my image and where the brand partnership works well together and promotes each other."
Regarding the Macau concert, he shared: "It went really well. We put everything essential into the show to make it as complete as possible, similar to our Thailand performances, though we made some adjustments to fit each location's context better. We swapped out some songs and brought in others."
Billkin also mentioned upcoming tour dates in Singapore, South Korea, and Hong Kong, noting that he's trying to add special touches to each show by featuring exclusive songs and new stage arrangements.
About the international award, Billkin expressed genuine excitement: "2026 WIEA Impactful International Artist—when translated to Thai, it sounds even more impressive. I'm really happy about it. Weibo is a major platform, and being invited to receive the award and perform makes me feel honored by them."
He emphasized how each award and performance serves as a reminder that people are waiting to see his work and consume his art, which boosts his confidence and motivation.
When asked about future international stage surprises, Billkin said: "If there's an opportunity, I'll take it. Honestly, whenever something comes up, I want to do it. It all depends on the opportunity and sometimes it's a matter of scheduling conflicts."
For Thai fans, Billkin teased: "We're currently working on a new album." Regarding performances, he invited potential promoters to reach out, saying: "If anyone wants to have me perform, they can get in touch. If something comes up this year, that would be great news. Let's just wait and see."
