Body of Young Engineer Found Floating in Chao Phraya River After Falling from Pathumthani Bridge 1
A 39-year-old engineer's body was found floating in the Chao Phraya River two days after he fell from Pathumthani Bridge 1 in Pathum Thani Province.
At 6:00 AM on May 7, 2569, Police Lieutenant Supakorn Thanyananukhul, deputy investigative officer at Samkok Police Station, received a report from the Pathum Thani Province Volunteer Radio Center Foundation that a local fisherman had discovered a male body floating in the Chao Phraya River in Moo 2, Krachang Subdistrict, Samkok District, Pathum Thani Province. Officers rushed to the scene and found the body face-down in the river near an auto repair shop. The deceased was wearing athletic clothing, track pants, and canvas shoes.
Investigation identified the body as Mr. A (alias), 39 years old, an engineer—the same person who fell from Pathumthani Bridge 1 into the Chao Phraya River on May 5. Initially, authorities transported the body to the Institute of Forensic Medicine for examination before contacting relatives to claim the body for a merit-making ceremony according to traditional practice.
