Boom Pannada Waits at Home as Police Issue Arrest Warrant
Influencer Boom Pannada is waiting at her home after police issued an arrest warrant related to her foundation's finances. Her lawyer clarified her earlier statement about accepting sole responsibility, explaining she acknowledges some liability but whether criminal offenses like embezzlement occurred depends on evidence. Boom expressed concern for her young children and elderly mother while apologizing to the public and foundation supporters.
Lawyer Ekachai Srisang clarified Boom Pannada's statement about accepting sole responsibility after police issued an arrest warrant, confirming she will wait at her home rather than travel to surrender, fearing she could be perceived as fleeing if intercepted en route. Boom firmly stated that establishing the foundation was not a mistake.
At 5:00 PM on November 5, 2026, Pannada Wongphudee, known as Boom, accompanied by her personal lawyer Ekachai Srisang, spoke to media gathered outside her housing estate. Boom revealed she is experiencing mixed emotions and has mentally prepared herself, including entrusting her two children, aged 2 and 4, to her grandmother since she is the family's primary breadwinner. She also expressed concern for her sister Anda, her 76-year-old mother, and her two young children, saying her biggest worry is their care going forward. She affirmed she is ready to enter the judicial process to prove the truth.
When asked if she had a message for the public, Boom said, "There are no words other than to apologize for disappointing people, for making them feel bad in many ways, to apologize to the foundation committee, to those who loved and trusted me. Whatever I did wrong, I will accept the consequences." Regarding close associates filing complaints against her, she briefly stated, "That is their right."
Addressing her earlier claim of accepting sole responsibility, lawyer Ekachai explained that at the time, the foundation committee may have been in a difficult emotional situation. He emphasized she never denied wrongdoing from the start, but "wrongdoing" has many aspects — regulatory violations, breaches of rules, or a duty to return funds to the foundation — and she acknowledges she has a share of responsibility. Whether this constitutes criminal offenses such as embezzlement or fraud must be determined from facts and evidence; it does not mean she denies responsibility, but acceptance of responsibility must be clearly separated by category.
On bail concerns, the lawyer said past cases provide insight, but he believes demonstrating good faith, standing on legal principles, and consistently presenting herself will support a bail request under the law, subject to the court's discretion. They are prepared to comply with all procedures.
Regarding financial trails, the lawyer noted these are forensic evidence for the police. He has already told Boom that no matter how skilled the lawyer, facts cannot be changed, so all financial trails must be accepted as truth and accurate information provided to investigators.
When asked again if establishing the foundation was a mistake from the start, Boom replied, "No." The lawyer added that initial intentions may have been good, but what happened afterward cannot yet be confirmed. Determining whether it was intent or negligence will require much more detail.
Pressed again on whether she would not go to surrender, the lawyer said they do not yet know if the warrant has been formally issued. If she drives out and is arrested en route, it could appear she is fleeing, which would not be favorable, so they have consistently communicated she will wait at home.
Boom concluded by thanking everyone for their encouragement, including those who still understand and do not criticize. She revealed her daughter has been a constant source of strength and is a very resilient child.
