Boom Panadda Ready to Surrender After Arrest Warrant Issued
Thai actress and influencer Boom Panadda has announced she is ready to surrender to police after a court approved an arrest warrant in connection with a foundation financial scandal. She apologized to the 'Doing Good' foundation committee members and accepted sole responsibility. Her lawyer arranged for her to turn herself in at his office to avoid her children witnessing the arrest, while fellow lawyers and committee members appeared on a televised program tearfully denying prior knowledge of the alleged financial irregularities.
Actress Boom Panadda has come to terms with the situation and is ready to enter the judicial process after an arrest warrant was issued. She apologized to all committee members and insisted she alone would take responsibility. Her attorney, Lawyer Phet, called into the 'Hono Krasae' program to confirm the warrant had likely been approved and said Boom was currently with him at Fashion Island, ready to surrender at his office rather than at her home to shield her children from the scene.
Earlier on the November 5 episode, host Num Kachai brought in committee members of the 'Doing Good' foundation, including Vice President Patty, CEO of Pak Talad, and Lawyer Ple, who is both an attorney and foundation committee member. They presented evidence and tearfully claimed they were unaware of any financial irregularities within the foundation, stating they only learned of the issues from news reports.
As news of the arrest warrants for Boom Panadda and Got Athip broke, Lawyer Phet phoned in to say Boom was prepared to face the legal process: 'Whatever is wrong, we will accept; whatever exceeds the truth, we will correct.' Lawyer Sai Yut then asked Boom if she had anything to say to the waiting committee members, prompting her to apologize directly: 'I want to apologize to everyone, to all committee members. Boom is the one taking responsibility alone.'
Lawyer Phet, visibly emotional, expressed sympathy for Lawyer Ple, who broke down crying, accusing Boom of betrayal: 'Why did you do this to us, P'Boom? We worked hard and trusted you like a sister. Did you deceive us from the start?' Lawyer Phet consoled Ple but cautioned that as attorneys with active cases, they should not speak publicly. Lawyer Sai Yut further advised removing the children from the residence immediately, noting that an arrest warrant is invariably accompanied by a search warrant.
