Boom Pannada Arrested on Fraud, Money Laundering Charges
Central Investigation Bureau arrested influencer Boom Pannada on fraud and money laundering charges Tuesday after searching her Bangkok home; she apologized to reporters while entering custody.
At 11:09 AM on November 6, 2026, investigators from the Central Investigation Bureau took Pannada Wongphudee, known as Boom Pannada, into custody at CIB headquarters. She faces charges of colluding to defraud the public, money laundering, and violations of the Computer Crime Act. The arrest followed a search of her luxury home in Bangkok's Nongmin area.
Boom appeared composed but tired, greeting reporters with a wai before entering for questioning. She stated she was willing to enter the legal process, but declined to answer when asked how she reached this point. She repeatedly apologized to everyone, waiing continuously as she walked in with her lawyer.
Police will proceed with standard legal procedures. No press conference is scheduled today; one is expected tomorrow morning before Boom and her husband are remanded in custody.
