'Dear You: A Letter of Love to Mother' had an emotional premiere that celebrated family values shared between Thailand and China. Sahamongkol Film International, Black Dragon Entertainment, and T+66, alongside official sponsors BYD and CP GROUP, brought the warmly received Chinese film to Thai audiences, with the event held on July 21, 2024, at One Ultra Screens in One Bangkok's Parade zone.
The film, which has already captivated over 41 million viewers across Asia, tells the story of letters (known as 'pohyok') sent by overseas Chinese to their families and loved ones, uncovering memories, love, and connections across generations. The movie resonates deeply with Thai families of Chinese descent, as it reflects the long-standing bonds between the overseas Chinese community and Thailand.
The premiere was attended by government and private sector representatives, supporters, artists, influencers, and media.
