Thai Film First to Screen in Panoramic SCREENX Format

M Studio and Channel 3 have partnered with South Korean company CJ 4DPLEX, a leading global producer of cinema films and premium theater technology, to premiere "Tee Yod: Saming Khao Kwang" in SCREENX format—the first Thai film to be presented using 270-degree panoramic projection technology. M Studio CEO Surachet Asvareungnanth stated that the collaboration brings world-class cinema technology to Thai filmmaking, creating a new dimension for storytelling through a format gaining popularity worldwide. SCREENX extends images from the main screen to the left and right walls, creating a maximum 270-degree panoramic view, unlike traditional cinemas where viewers see only the front screen. This technology expands the film's world, creating an immersive experience where audiences feel present within the action. For "Tee Yod: Saming Khao Kwang," set in mysterious forests filled with adventure, chase sequences, and supernatural encounters, SCREENX perfectly amplifies the film's impact. When images extend to both sides, viewers experience the forest's vastness and surrounding danger, while action sequences and confrontations with the tiger become more thrilling and immersive. Asvareungnanth explained that M Studio wanted Thai cinema to reach global standards across content, production, and presentation formats.
