Disaster centre opens after decade-long delay
Phuket has finally opened a disaster prevention centre at Tha Chatchai after nearly ten years of sitting idle, with the facility now operational through the Provincial Administrative Organisation.
PHUKET: The Phuket Provincial Administrative Organisation (PPAO) has opened the Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Centre building at Tha Chatchai, bringing into use a long-delayed government facility that had remained unused for almost a decade.
