Drug Bust Nets Thousands of Pills, Nearly 1kg of Ice
Authorities in Prachuap Khiri Khan dismantled a drug trafficking network using parcel deliveries, arresting three men and seizing over 4,000 methamphetamine pills and nearly 1 kilogram of crystal methamphetamine.
On June 30, 2569, Prachuap Khiri Khan Governor Chaicharn Muulmak, alongside territorial defense volunteers and special operation units, coordinated with provincial military authorities and the 14th Narcotics Suppression Unit to dismantle a drug trafficking network using parcel delivery systems. The operation resulted in over 4,000 methamphetamine pills and nearly 1 kilogram of crystal methamphetamine being seized.
Authorities arrested a 28-year-old male in Subdistrict Khlong Wale, Prachuap Khiri Khan Municipality, recovering 0.57 grams of ketamine. The investigation expanded to arrest a 52-year-old male in the same area with 395 methamphetamine pills in his possession. A third arrest of a 28-year-old male in Prachuap Khiri Khan Subdistrict yielded 3,894 methamphetamine pills and approximately 95 grams of crystal methamphetamine. All suspects were transferred to Prachuap Khiri Khan Municipal Police Station for legal proceedings.
