Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Suchat Chomklin is pursuing legal action after a truck bearing stickers with his photo and name was allegedly used to transport industrial waste illegally. On October 21, 2026, his official Facebook page posted a clarification regarding online news and social media posts showing a truck with stickers displaying his face and name, accompanied by questions suggesting the stickers were used as influence or a "checkpoint charm" to avoid inspections for illegal industrial waste transport.

Suchat, the MP for Chonburi District 1, clarified the facts for the public and media: 1. He categorically denies any involvement, consent, or assistance to the truck operator, owner, or any person in producing, installing, or using stickers bearing his image or name on any vehicle. 2. As Minister, he strictly enforces environmental laws, policies, and measures, especially against illegal industrial waste dumping and pollution. No sticker or image can serve as a "checkpoint charm" or shield against legal action. 3. He has coordinated with police, highway officials, and relevant agencies to prosecute any truck or vehicle violating the law to the fullest extent, regardless of whose photo, name, or sticker is displayed. If his name is falsely used to evade inspection, it constitutes fraud and false representation, and he has requested officers to arrest those responsible. 4. He is currently working with his legal team to verify and take legal action against anyone who misused his name and image to create misunderstanding or gain undue advantage.

He thanked the public and media for acting as social watchdogs and reaffirmed his commitment to performing his duties with integrity and fairness for the benefit of the nation and its people.
