Tutoring School Owner Accused of Forcing Boy to Use Cannabis
A tutoring school owner in Udon Thani is accused of forcing a 15-year-old boy to pose with cannabis for photographs before taking him to police, allegations the teen denies.
A 34-year-old father from Nong Bua Lamphu filed a police complaint at Udon Thani City Police Station on Saturday afternoon, alleging that the owner of a well-known military-preparatory-school tutoring centre forced his 15-year-old son to smoke cannabis, made him point at drugs for photographs, and then took him to police. The teenager said the school owner and two others suddenly entered a room where he was with friends, accused them of using cannabis, and forced them to pose with the drug for pictures before being taken to the police station. The boy denied using cannabis and claimed the drugs belonged to other students at the tutoring school. Police have accepted the complaint and said they would gather evidence and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team to question the child and others involved, with the tutoring-school owner to be summoned for questioning. Further legal action will depend on the investigation outcome.
