Turkish Super Lig club Fenerbahçe has announced the signing of Dutch defender Nathan Aké from Manchester City's Premier League squad in a deal valued at £8.5 million total. Reports indicate Fenerbahçe will pay an initial £7 million with additional clauses that could push the fee to £8.5 million, and Aké has agreed to a three-year contract. Speaking about his time at Manchester City, Aké said, "I feel tremendously honored to have been a Manchester City player for the past six years. I've grown tremendously both as a footballer and as a person. I'm proud of every success we achieved together. After this, Manchester City will always remain a special place for me." The 31-year-old defender moved to Manchester City in 2020 from Bournemouth and made 177 appearances across all competitions for the club while helping them win multiple championships.
