Former Boxer Tested Positive for Drugs, Now Hospitalized
Former boxer Amnat Ruenrueng tested positive for drugs and is now hospitalized for psychiatric treatment at Srimahapot Hospital in Ubon Ratchathani Province after losing consciousness on September 2.
Johnny Muscle has provided an update on former boxer Amnat Ruenrueng following his admission to psychiatric care. Amnat, a well-known former boxer, became intoxicated and lost consciousness on September 2, prompting widespread public criticism. After receiving care and a second chance from Johnny Muscle, he was taken home but the incident occurred less than a day later. Johnny subsequently admitted him to the hospital on the evening of September 3.
On September 4, Johnny reported that Amnat was received for psychiatric treatment at Srimahapot Hospital in Ubon Ratchathani Province. After being confined around midnight and given sedation, Amnat slept until 6 a.m., then woke displaying signs of delirium, agitation, and incoherent speech.
Johnny revealed that preliminary medical examinations including X-rays, blood tests, brain scans, heart scans, and urinalysis have been completed. Results showed the presence of drugs in his system, which Johnny attributed to Amnat seeking substances after leaving his care and subsequently becoming intoxicated and losing control. The matter now awaits police involvement for ongoing treatment.
Amnat is now classified as a psychiatric patient. Johnny expressed his continued love and compassion, believing that after leaving his care, Amnat encountered drugs and narcotics, compounded by alcohol consumption, leading to the behavioral disturbances and problems in the Sri Racha area.
Johnny expressed concern about what would happen if Amnat does not take medication after leaving the hospital. Amnat has previously undergone psychiatric treatment at Chonburi Hospital and other facilities five times before. Johnny appealed to the public to view Amnat as a psychiatric patient, noting that his condition stems from boxing since childhood combined with drug use, resulting in neurological damage and brain deterioration. Johnny reaffirmed his love for Amnat Ruenrueng and hopes he will return to being a good teacher to his students, emphasizing his continued care and compassion.
