Gulf Development Donates 1 Million Baht to Support Border Troops' Families

Gulf Development Company Limited, led by Thanon Tantisunthon, Chief Executive Officer of Corporate Relations, and Sitmon Ratnavade, Director of Corporate Social Activities, presented a donation of 1 million baht to the Suranari Force Military Museum Fund to support the welfare and education of children of soldiers killed or wounded in border combat operations under the Suranari Force's responsibility. The donation was received by General Adul Boontharam, Minister of Defence, at Defence Ministry headquarters.

The donation represents Gulf's commitment to advancing Thai society sustainably, particularly in supporting national security and sovereignty operations, as the company believes that national security is fundamental to Thailand's strong progress. Previously, Gulf established a 100-million-baht fund to assist and provide relief to soldiers injured or killed during border security operations on the Thai-Cambodian border, aiming to improve quality of life and boost morale for soldiers and their families. Gulf also prioritizes healthcare support, having donated medical equipment valued at over 2.1 million baht to Sapphasit Camp Hospital in Ubon Ratchathani province as a way to honor the sacrifices of Thai soldiers.

Gulf continues to support border security operations through various initiatives, including distribution of approximately 2,000 Gulf Care relief packages to soldiers and affected civilians at shelters across multiple provinces, providing budget support to shelters, and working with affiliated companies to bring satellite and communications technology to improve security personnel's operational efficiency.
