Gulf Donates Cleaning Supplies, Medicine to Flood-Hit Bangkok
Gulf has donated cleaning supplies and essential medicines worth one million baht to help Bangkok recover from recent floods. The donation supports the GULF Care programme, which has been providing relief packs, water and meals throughout the crisis. Officials say the aid will speed up cleanup, health assistance and the return to normal life for affected residents.
The Gulf Development PLC handed over cleaning supplies, household medicines and other necessities worth 1 million baht to the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, represented by its Social Activity Director Sittamon Rattanawadee. Governor Chadchart Sittipunt said the company’s GULF Care programme has been active throughout the flood crisis, distributing relief packs, drinking water and cooked meals to affected communities. He added that, as waters recede, the focus shifts to cleaning homes, preventing disease and restoring normal life, and Gulf is providing detergent, brushes, cloths, gloves, mosquito repellent, skin‑care medicine, paracetamol, anti‑diarrhoea tablets, oral rehydration salts and alcohol for disinfection – over 30 000 items in total. Gulf has also dispatched more than 15 000 additional relief packs to flood victims in 16 provinces across four regions, reaffirming its commitment to stand with Thais in every disaster.
