At 8 p.m. on July 7, 2026, police in Muang Nonthaburi received a report of an intentional jump from Nonthaburi pier at the Clock Tower Dock in Muang District. Nantawat admitted he has been fishing for many years but has never encountered anything like this before. Terrified by the experience, he decided to quit fishing for good and rushed home immediately.

July 7 – Rescue officials from the Ayutthaya United Association responded to a report of a 16-year-old student who fell from a Ayutthaya-Wang Noi public bus with serious injuries on Rojana Road in Ban Pa-in District, Ayutthaya Province. The injured student, identified as Phaluewat, was found lying on the roadside with severe facial lacerations, a fractured skull, multiple broken front teeth, and heavy bleeding. Rescue personnel provided first aid before rushing him to Uthai Hospital.

According to Panya, an official from the Ayutthaya United Association, the student fell from the bus while attempting to get off. Later at Bang Pa-in Police Station, the student's 40-year-old mother, Thiphya, filed a report alongside the bus driver.

Thiphya explained she was waiting at her usual pickup location across the street when the accident occurred. She was unaware her son had fallen until he video-called her saying "I fell off the bus." Shocked by his condition, she noted she had always driven him to and from school since childhood. She had only recently started allowing him to take the public bus home as a way to teach him independence, while she continued to drive him in the mornings.
