Homeowner Targeted Twice: Thief Cuts Power Lines, Damages Worth 40,000 Baht
A homeowner in Pathum Thani filed a burglary report after an intruder cut and stole electrical wiring worth 40,000 baht, marking the second such incident that has left residents fearful.
On September 22, investigator Rujjiroj Kitikoknokkan of Pra Tunam Chulalongkorn Police Station received a report from a 49-year-old homeowner whose house in a residential community in Prachatthipat subdistrict, Thanyaburi district, Pathum Thani was burglarized. Initial investigation revealed that electrical wiring inside the house was cut and removed, causing damage estimated at 40,000 baht. The crime occurred on September 20. The victim filed the report at 10 a.m. and requested officers to review CCTV footage and extract image files from the crime scene to use as evidence for prosecution. The homeowner stated that because this is the second such incident, residents in the surrounding area are now living in fear and lack confidence in their safety. She urgently appealed to police to apprehend and prosecute the suspect so that people in the community can live securely and peacefully.
