Inter Milan Defender Bastoni Probed In Child Trafficking Case
Inter Milan defender Alessandro Bastoni is under investigation by Milan prosecutors in a child trafficking case involving an agency that allegedly organized parties for high-profile clients, though a 17-year-old witness denied any relations
Alessandro Bastoni, the 27-year-old Italian defender for Inter Milan in Serie A, is under investigation by Milan prosecutors in a child trafficking case. Gazzetta dello Sport revealed that Bastoni received an avviso di garanzia—an official notice under Italian law indicating a person is under investigation—on Tuesday. This is a legal procedural step rather than a formal charge or conviction determination. He is expected to be questioned in the coming days. Bastoni is the first footballer being investigated in this case, which primarily focuses on an agency in Cinisello Balsamo. Prosecutors allege the agency organized all-inclusive parties for high-profile clients, including footballers. Bastoni's involvement relates to allegations of a relationship with a 17-year-old girl, but the girl, when questioned as a witness, stated that no relationship occurred between them.
