On May 25, 2569, Krungthai Bank posted a statement on its Krungthai Care Facebook page noting that the Thai Help Thai Plus (60/40) registration program experienced system delays due to demand exceeding 300,000 transactions per second. The bank has successfully expanded its system capacity to handle over 700,000 transactions per second, with 10 million people completing registration within 23 minutes.
Compared to the previous registration round, which took 30 minutes to register 5 million people, this round achieved double the registrations in less time—10 million people in 23 minutes.
The Thai Help Thai Plus 60/40 program opened for eligible citizens at 6:00 AM that day. The program is a cost-sharing measure between the government and citizens, with the government subsidizing 60% of expenses and citizens contributing 40% for food, beverages, goods, and services from participating merchants. The initiative aims to reduce costs and maintain purchasing power during economic recovery.
Eligible citizens can check their program benefits through the state welfare card system.
