Manual Transmission Driver Insists 11-Year-Old Can Really Drive
A manual transmission driver claims an 11-year-old boy who crashed into ten Buddha statues after a 10-kilometer drive actually possessed real driving skills, arguing the child must have shifted gears to prevent engine stalling.
Manual transmission driver Kachai analyzed viral footage of an 11-year-old boy driving 10 kilometers before crashing into ten Buddha statues, confidently asserting the child was actually capable of driving. Speaking on the "Noon News" program on July 3, Kachai argued that operating a manual transmission vehicle requires precise clutch control and gear coordination—skills the boy appeared to demonstrate. He noted that driving 10 kilometers in first gear alone at that speed would be impossible without engine stalling, suggesting the boy must have shifted gears. Kachai acknowledged he cannot determine who taught the child, but insisted the boy's driving performance—including successfully reversing and returning to normal lanes—proves he had actual driving experience. He emphasized that children unfamiliar with a specific vehicle would inevitably stall the engine, and the boy's familiarity with this particular truck was evident. While questioning whether the boy drove skillfully or recklessly, Kachai maintained that decision-making differs between children and adults. He concluded that the boy must have prior driving experience, otherwise the vehicle would have stalled, and apologized to anyone disagreeing with his assessment.
