Market Celebrates Anniversary With Star-Studded Show
Petchphitchaya Market in Nakhon Sawan celebrated its anniversary with a free concert by popular Thai music group Sriraam Nam Petchr, drawing enthusiastic crowds who donated over 100,000 baht to the performers.
Petchphitchaya Market held a major event featuring the million-baht music group Sriraam Nam Petchr, offering free admission to celebrate the market's anniversary. The atmosphere grew lively from evening onwards as Mae Yak fans and supporters arrived early afternoon to secure seating, undeterred by sun and rain, to watch the full concert performance by Bank and Poi. The popular songs "Jairak Horia Jihlock" and "Saao Isan Ror Rak" drew such large crowds that fans felt the need for extra cooling. Fans arrived with substantial cash donations—hundreds and thousands of baht—which they carefully arranged and strung together as garlands to present to their beloved artists, with the total exceeding 100,000 baht.
Peach Supicha Paitoon, the market owner, cleared the market grounds for the grand event held in the heart of Nakhon Sawan city. The celebration brought the Sriraam Nam Petchr music group to perform at Petchphitchaya Market as part of the anniversary commemoration, aligning with the market's motto "Petchphitchaya—Fresh, Clean, Safe Market." The event was graced by a standing statue of Luang Pu Sila Sirijanto, the 23rd image installation, presented as a blessing for the market's birthday celebration. The performance featured the show "Sawet Chat Luk Choo."
