At 7:13 a.m. on July 11, 2569, emergency line 199 received a report of an air-conditioned bus crashing into an electrical pole on Ladprao Road near Soi Ladprao 112, Phlabphla Sub-district, Wangthonglang District, Bangkok. Firefighters from Ladprao Fire Station and rescue volunteers from Po Tek Tung Foundation rushed to the scene.

At the accident location, a three-lane road with the left lane on a footpath, responders found a blue Bangkok-registered air-conditioned bus with severe front-end damage, broken windows, having collided with an electrical control box and a roadside tree that was snapped. Traffic in the area slowed as vehicles passed through.

Rescue volunteers quickly assisted passengers inside the bus who were injured. Eight female and two male passengers were transported to Phetchvej Hospital and Ladprao Hospital, totaling 10 injured persons.

A man was fatally shot during a pre-ordination merit-making celebration when two groups with an ongoing dispute since Songkran encountered each other at a house in Phra Yaban Lue subdistrict, Lad Bua Luang district, Ayutthaya province, at 3 a.m. on July 11, 2025. Two people were injured. The first victim, 36-year-old Piyadom (surname withheld), was shot in the left chest with the bullet exiting the right side. He died at Bang Thai Hospital. The second victim, 27-year-old DJ Supannee (surname withheld), was grazed by a stray bullet on her shoulder and was treated at Sena Hospital.

According to witnesses, the deceased and a friend had traveled from Bang Pa-in to attend the ordination celebration. During the gathering, two brothers with a prior conflict with the victim since Songkran approached and confrontationally asked if the victim still had grievances. When the victim replied he had none but feared no one, one of the brothers threw a bottle before both men drew firearms and opened fire. Everyone fled, the victim was shot down, and the DJ was hit by a stray bullet. The victim was rushed to the hospital but died shortly after.

The victim's friend expressed dismay that such a serious incident escalated to gunfire when a fistfight should have sufficed, especially with only two people involved. The house owner, who had invited both parties, identified the shooters as Thani (age 27) and Wirot (age 33), brothers who were his friends but did not personally know the victim.

According to the house owner, the perpetrators arrived at the party and were drinking when the victim arrived late. During the drinking session, Thani confrontationally asked if the victim still harbored grievances. When the victim responded he had none but feared no one, a bottle was smashed and gunfire erupted. The victim was shot and subsequently died at the hospital.

The house owner revealed that the victim and Thani had previously fought during Songkran while playing in water, resulting in the victim being struck in the head. The two parties later reconciled and the perpetrator apologized to the victim's parents, so the host did not expect lingering resentment. He expressed deep sorrow and shock that such violence occurred during his own ordination preparations.
