The Thai Meteorological Department warned of severe thunderstorms affecting Thailand over the next 24 hours, with thundershowers, strong gusty winds, and potential lightning strikes in scattered areas, particularly across northern Thailand. The public should avoid open spaces, large trees, structures, and weakly constructed billboards to stay safe during the storms. Farmers are advised to reinforce fruit trees and prepare protective measures for crops and livestock, while monitoring their health during the weather changes.
For the southern region, scattered thunderstorms are expected due to easterly and southeasterly winds affecting the Gulf of Thailand, southern provinces, and the Andaman Sea. Dust and haze levels in the north, northeast, and upper central regions are decreasing but remain moderate, with some rainfall helping to reduce particulate matter.
