Minister Supamas Confident She Can Answer No-Confidence Charges
Supamas Issarapakdee, a minister in the Prime Minister's Office, said she is confident she can clarify her work despite not understanding the opposition's 'heart rot' accusation. She noted the charges against 18 ministers are alike and likely come from the Bhumjaithai Party and coalition allies, and that her party has prepared its responses. The minister added she has been preparing since taking office and sees no cause for concern.
Speaking at the Government House on October 14 at 12:10 p.m., Supamas Issarapakdee said she and her party have been gathering information just as they have done before, and she is ready to answer the no-confidence motion filed under Section 151. She said she does not know what the allegation of a 'rotten heart' refers to, but insists everyone in her party is prepared to discuss their performance. Supamas stressed that she has been doing her homework since becoming a minister and sees nothing to worry about, adding that she will wait to hear the opposition's evidence before responding.
