Mor Lam Star Yuki Penphaka Moves On After Two-Day Heartbreak
Thai mor lam star Yuki Penphaka revealed she moved on from her breakup with Pee Pre Piracha after only two days of heartbreak. At a drama blessing ceremony, she confirmed she is now seeing someone new in the entertainment industry and that her parents have already approved. Yuki said she is happy and focused on work, filming a new Channel 7 series while performing concerts.
Mor lam singer and actress Yuki Penphaka has moved on, revealing her heartbreak over her split from former sweetheart Pee Pre Piracha in mid-2026 lasted only two days. She now has a new suitor in the entertainment industry and says her parents have passed the first hurdle of approval, opening the door for a fresh start.
Speaking at the blessing ceremony for the new drama "Nang Fa Mor Lam" at the Thewalai Phra Phikhanet studio for Channel 7HD, Yuki opened up about her past relationship. After breaking up with Pee Pre Piracha mid-year, she admitted the heartbreak was intense but brief: "After we broke up, I was heartbroken for just two days, then I went back to work. I just forgot about it and moved on."
Asked how single life has been, Yuki said: "I'm happy, not lonely because work has been busy — filming the drama and doing concerts." She confirmed the split was a deliberate decision: "It was intentional, not confusing. It was probably more my intention that we decided that way." She acknowledged the relationship had been exhausting, with repeated sulking episodes visible in the news.
"At first it was hard to pull away — quite painful, really heavy," she said. But she recovered quickly. Asked if she's ready to move on, she laughed: "Moved on already. People have been offering steamed buns [flirting], but I don't have a 'spec' anymore. Before, he had to be a handsome Chinese-Thai guy, tall."
Why no specifications now? "It hurt so much I don't want to expect anything from love. What kind of person would I not take? Someone who doesn't understand me, and someone involved in bad or illegal things." Asked if she's susceptible to the new suitor's charms: "Susceptible? A little, when my heart flutters."
She confirmed there is someone, "not many because I'm not a two-timer." On her view of love now: "Better not to expect too much, just see how it goes." Pressed on whether someone has captured her heart: "I won't answer that, just happy continuing."
The new person is in the entertainment industry, she confirmed with a smile: "That was the first answer — in the industry, entertainment industry." Asked if he's an actor or singer: "Something like that. Leading man? Oh, that's probably too deep, let's stop there."
Will she go public this time? "That's not up to me, it's up to the other side." She described the dynamic as happy and supportive: "They're there on tired days, supporting, encouraging, giving advice."
Her parents have already vetted him: "First hurdle is dad and mom. He's met them, first round passed. Then my older siblings will ask how things are. Another hurdle is Teacher Prajakchai, who said if I'm happy, just go ahead. He doesn't meddle in love, doesn't forbid it anymore — probably can't forbid it anymore."
Yuki affirmed she's not closed off to love and ready to meet the right person: "Just opening the opportunity for myself, it would be a good thing if it's truly good." She acknowledged work is currently heavy, balancing her singing career with drama filming.
