CP Axtra Reports Q3 Revenue of 1.3 Trillion Baht, Online Sales Grow 26%
November 6, 2026 – Thanakorn Tharawisit, Chief Executive Officer of the Financial Business Group at CP Axtra Public Company Limited (CPAXT), operator of Makro-Lotus, announced the company's third-quarter 2026 results. Total revenue reached 130,362 million baht with normalized net profit of 2,013 million baht, supported by wholesale business sales, online sales growth exceeding 26%, operations in Malaysia, and expanding gross margins from pricing strategy and improved retail loss management. The quarter included one-time non-cash expenses from the company's growth strategy, impacting current net profit but expected to benefit performance from the next quarter and throughout 2027.
"The third quarter marks a pivotal step in our business transformation for long-term growth. We are advancing across all channels — online to meet current consumer behavior and offline through portfolio adjustments and expansion in high-potential locations domestically and internationally. We aim to see full results in Q4 2026 through 2027 across revenue, profit quality, and long-term value creation," said Thanakorn.
The company pursues sustainable growth through key initiatives:
• Efficient cost and expense management — improving gross margins alongside reduced last-mile delivery costs, with results visible in late Q3, strengthening overall operations. • Regional expansion-driven growth — acquiring The Food Purveyor (TFP), Malaysia's leading premium supermarket, in a top-tier ASEAN economy, to strengthen the premium segment with high-spending customers and 8-10% annual growth potential, broadening the customer base across all tiers while creating synergies and knowledge transfer for long-term growth. • Business portfolio optimization and asset quality enhancement — maximizing asset potential for better returns and sustainable growth. • Advancing Happy & Healthy Mall development — using experience-led destinations blending mall leasing with lifestyle experiences to attract quality shoppers and tenants, with plans to upgrade over 78 locations nationwide.
Additionally, CP Axtra was ranked Thailand's #1 Grocery E-Commerce organization, reflecting its successful digital transformation into a retail tech leader. The company also received ISO 14001:2026 certification from LRQA — the new standard — becoming the first Thai retailer to achieve it, demonstrating systematic environmental management alongside efficient and sustainable business operations.
