Nakee 3 Release Delayed After Actress Objects to CGI Edits
The Thai film "Nakee 3 Khrutha Nakee" has been delayed by one day after lead actress Taeo Nataporn objected to CGI-altered scenes that appear to show her partially nude. Her legal team claims the edits were made without consent, damaging her reputation and misleading viewers. Mono Streaming has agreed to cut the disputed scenes before the new October 23 release date.
The release of "Nakee 3 Khrutha Nakee" has been postponed after actress Taeo Nataporn Temiraksa filed a formal objection against Mono Streaming. Her company, Mirat 1 Co., Ltd., sent a letter to Mono Streaming Co., Ltd. objecting to the distribution of her performance in the film "Khrut Nakee," alleging that her footage was digitally altered using CGI to simulate exposure of her chest or upper body — a depiction that did not happen during actual filming. The company and the actress state that such manipulation causes embarrassment, harms her reputation and dignity, subjects her to public ridicule, and risks misleading audiences into believing the scenes were genuine. They assert she never consented to edits that would compromise her image or personal rights. Consequently, they demand the producer immediately halt distribution of the altered scenes, remove or suspend those portions from the film and all release channels, and warn of civil and criminal legal action plus damages if their demands are ignored. In response, Mono Streaming Co., Ltd. announced the film's premiere would move from Thursday, October 22, 2569 to Friday, October 23, 2569, to excise scenes featuring Taeo Nataporn. The company emphasized its commitment to content standards and apologized for the inconvenience.
