Navy Elevates Security in Narathiwat to Full Alert
Thailand's navy has elevated security to full alert across Narathiwat province with intensified patrols and round-the-clock surveillance, coordinating with military and security agencies to protect civilians and restore public confidence.
Thailand's navy commander has ordered all units in Narathiwat province to heighten security measures across all dimensions with intensified patrols and 24-hour surveillance. Navy Spokesperson Parutch Rattanaichaiphan revealed on July 26, 2025 that the navy is closely monitoring the security situation in Narathiwat and coordinating with the Army, Fourth Army Region, Narathiwat special task force, the Maritime National Interests Command Centre, and all security agencies to protect civilians and restore public confidence.
The navy has held continuous meetings to assess the situation and prepare appropriate support measures. Following this assessment, the navy has upgraded security measures across all sectors by increasing patrols and inspections on sea and land, strengthening port and military facility protection, and preparing naval forces and medical teams for immediate deployment. The measures also include stricter area control, checkpoint establishment, emergency response drills, and close coordination among all units. All agencies maintain the highest priority for the safety of civilians, military personnel, and government officials, with enhanced surveillance of residential areas and key locations, ongoing criminal tracking, and unrest prevention efforts.
The navy spokesperson further stated that the navy commander, as operational commander, has instructed all units to carry out their duties with care and vigilance while maintaining troop morale and placing public safety as the top priority. "The navy affirms that all units continue to perform at full capacity, monitoring the situation 24 hours a day and standing ready to support all sectors so that people can live with confidence, as civilian safety is our most important mission," the spokesperson concluded.
