Net Idol Assaulted By Boyfriend, Posts Violent Video
Popular Thai net idol Cholthida Phonsan posted a violent video of her boyfriend assaulting her, revealing the attack occurred after he grew jealous over her phone messages and a misunderstanding about a Songkran video.
On July 8, 2025, Cholthida Phonsan, a popular model and net idol with over a million followers, posted a video on her Facebook page with the caption: "The person who promised to take the best care of me is the one who hurt me the most."
The video shows a violent bedroom altercation between a man and woman. The man physically assaults the woman while she attempts to defend herself. Despite her resistance, the stronger man overpowers her, positioning himself on top while she is below, repeatedly striking her with his fists. The clip runs for over 1.27 minutes.
In a follow-up comment, Cholthida provided context for the incident: She explained her boyfriend found a video clip on her phone from a Songkran gathering she did not attend—it had been airdropped to her by an acquaintance, but he didn't believe her explanation. During this year's Songkran, she was bedridden with illness. She revealed they had previously broken up because he had caused her to have her nails removed. She attempted to move on by talking to others and staying in touch with him while trying to distance herself emotionally. Eventually they reconciled, but he discovered her messages with another person, accused her of infidelity, and assaulted her. She acknowledged her own responsibility for not cleanly ending things before communicating with someone else.
She stated: "I have stepped away completely and will never go back. I have filed a police report. How many more people will this happen to?"
The post has received overwhelming support from commenters offering encouragement, expressing shock at the violence, urging her to pursue charges, and hoping she never returns to the relationship. Many praised her decision to leave and move forward.
