PlanB is supporting activities for Thais by backing 'Supertoom' and the ONE FLAG THAILAND team as they train over Pattaya Beach in preparation for a world record attempt on December 5, 2026. On September 30, 2026 at Pattaya Beach, Chonburi Province, Associate Professor Dr. Thanaboon Sirikunakorn, nicknamed 'Supertoom', a Thai skydiver who holds three world records and serves as director of the ONE FLAG THAILAND project, led the skydiving team in ongoing training to prepare for the mission 'One Flag. One Nation. One World Record.' (or 'One Flag, One Nation, One World Record'). The skydiving team for the project includes Associate Professor Dr. Thanaboon Sirikunakorn, Lichit Wongtrakanpat, Amy McClay, Amy Pailin Watson, Varat Phisalbut, and Worakorn Suksuwan, who are working together to advance the project's important mission.
The training session involves preparations aboard the aircraft, group skydiving jumps, and practice handling the fabric for mid-air drills over the Gulf of Pattaya, readying the team before the actual mission carrying the Thai national flag on the scheduled day. During the training, skydivers wore shirts bearing the PlanB logo, reflecting the collaboration between the mission performers and the private sector partner driving the project.
PlanB is a key supporter helping to create beneficial activities for Thais through the ONE FLAG THAILAND initiative, including supporting athletes' capabilities, inspiring the public and youth to appreciate dedication, training, and teamwork, as well as promoting activities aimed at public benefit. This support is also linked to the goal of jointly fundraising for the renovation and construction of operating rooms at Siriraj Hospital, thus creating both pride in Thai capabilities and benefit to patients, with PlanB contributing to advance both the sporting mission and social good.
ONE FLAG THAILAND aims to set a world record by performing a simultaneous skydiving jump with the Thai flag over Pattaya Beach, emphasizing preparation and safety at every step while offering the public a chance to send encouragement and be part of a moment of Thai unity.
Regarding the social activity initiative, the Siriraj Foundation has issued a letter of approval for the project and authorized the use of the name and logo 'GIVE FOR MORE Siriraj Foundation' in related publicity materials to support the objective of jointly fundraising for the renovation and construction of operating rooms at Siriraj Hospital.
Furthermore, the project has scheduled a press conference for October 14, 2026 at Siam Paragon in Bangkok ahead of the main mission on December 5, 2026 at Pattaya Beach, Chonburi Province, inviting the public to follow and cheer for 'Supertoom' and the ONE FLAG THAILAND team, with PlanB and its partners supporting the creation of new history while delivering benefits to Thai society.
