Panel Approves Report on Local Exam Cheating Scandal
A government fact-checking panel approved its report on civil service exam cheating at local government recruitment, with findings awaiting submission to the Prime Minister after final revisions.
At Government House on August 5, Deputy Prime Minister Pakorn Nilpraphan, who heads the fact-checking and legal committee investigating cheating in civil service recruitment exams for local government positions, announced that the committee reached its decision on August 4. The findings have not yet been reported to Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul and Interior Minister because the report is still undergoing final revisions. Once completed, it will be submitted directly to the prime minister without requiring a cabinet meeting announcement.
