The Phleng Jit Fair is set to return on Saturday, November 21, 2026, at Bangkok Patana School. This event serves as the primary fundraising activity for the community and has raised over 70 million baht over more than two decades to support the British Community in Thailand Foundation for the Needy (BCTFN).
BCTFN supports local organizations in underserved areas to implement projects focused primarily on education and health. Since 2022, these projects have improved the quality of life and well-being of more than 3,000 people, with indirect benefits extending to families and communities. In 2025 alone, projects funded by the fair directly assisted 1,280 people. Outcomes included health screenings for 730 preschool children, vocational training for 250 women, school facility upgrades, provision of learning equipment and materials, and services such as school lunches and childcare benefiting 300 children and their family members.
The fair has enjoyed consistent success over the years because it offers a genuine day of fun and togetherness for everyone. Activities include a variety of games and rides, live performances, international food stalls, shopping, and a raffle draw that attracts thousands of attendees annually.
Derek Stamp, Chairman of BCTFN, said: "This fair is a day of genuine fun. Everyone can invite friends and bring their children to enjoy delicious food, watch performances, and fundraising happens naturally while people are having a good time together."
