Piti and Kantsak Claim GT3 Night Race Win at Sepang
Piti Phiromphakdi and Kantsak Kusiri won the Supercar GT3 night race at Sepang when the original leader received a pit stop penalty, moving their Honda NSX from second place to first on August 22.
Piti Phiromphakdi and Kantsak Kusiri of Singha Motorsport Team Thailand showcased an impressive comeback, charging from seventh place to claim the Supercar GT3 victory at Round 5 (night race) of the TSS The Super Series by B-Quik 2026 at Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia on August 22, 2025.
The Honda NSX GT3 number 12 started from pole position, with Piti driving the first stint before handing the car to Kantsak for the second half. After exiting the pit lane in seventh place, Kantsak relentlessly pursued the leaders and overtook Sataporn Virachoea's number 27 car in the final moments before the last corner, crossing the line in second place.
Post-race, the leader was handed a 15-second time penalty for a pit stop procedure violation, promoting Piti and Kantsak's Honda to first place.
Ferrari 296 GT3 number 89, driven by Voravut Phiromphakdi and Carlo van Dam, started from grid 2 and finished fourth.
After five races, Piti and Kantsak lead the GT3 championship with 95 points, while Voravut and Carlo sit third with 59 points. Race 6 takes place on Sunday, August 23, with the Ferrari starting from grid 2 and the Honda from grid 4, beginning at 11:15 a.m. Thailand time.
