PM's Office Seeks Clarity on NBTC Meeting Amid Court Order
Anutin Charnvirakul revealed that the Prime Minister's Office contacted the NBTC to ask for an explanation about a meeting that proceeded despite a court order to stop duties. He called on all independent agencies to adhere to the law and constitution. The initiative came from the Prime Minister's Secretary seeking clarity on the conflict with the Administrative Court ruling.
Anutin stated that the Prime Minister's Office wrote to the NBTC asking why a meeting was scheduled when the Administrative Court had ordered a halt to duties. He emphasized that all independent agencies must follow the law and constitution. The Prime Minister's Secretary, Trisulee Trisaranukul, sent the letter to seek clarification, as the meeting contradicts a court decision that the NBTC chairperson should forfeit rights or cease duties. Anutin added that agencies must operate within the constitutional and legal framework.
