Police Chief Visits Officers Injured in Ladphrao Fire Rescue

On July 14, Police General Siam Bunyasom, the National Police Commissioner, visited officers Sergeant Mangkorn Kotchomsop and Sergeant Waratchai Chaiyawong from Phahlyothin Police Station, who were hospitalized after inhaling heavy smoke while battling a fire in Ladphrao and rescuing residents. The visit was warm and personal, with the police chief greeting them, inquiring about the incident with genuine concern, and commending their bravery and dedication to public safety. Both officers are showing steady improvement; doctors have treated their respiratory irritation to near normal and only mild throat soreness remains. Medical staff have assessed their readiness and authorized them to return home for continued recovery this evening.
