Police Find Shooting Videos on Suspect's Computer
Police discovered videos of mass shootings on a Grade 9 student's computer weeks before he fatally shot his grandparents and carried out a deadly attack at Thepsirin School in Nonthaburi on August 7.
Police discovered crucial evidence on the computer of a middle school student who carried out a shooting at Thepsirin School in Nonthaburi, with files viewed since July 30. At 12:28 p.m. on August 7, officers found two shooting victims at a residence in Bang Bua Thong district: a 73-year-old man shot dead in the kitchen and a 74-year-old woman found dead in a second-floor bedroom. Both were the grandparents of the Grade 9 student responsible for the school shooting at Thepsirin School in Nonthaburi. Investigation revealed that the suspect, a grandson, used his grandfather's 9mm pistol to kill both grandparents in the early morning before traveling to the school to carry out the mass shooting that resulted in multiple deaths and injuries. During a search of the residence, police discovered a desktop computer containing five video files of foreign mass shooting incidents that the suspect had been viewing since July 30, prior to carrying out the school shooting this morning.
